Bowie, Maryland, January 6, 2021: The Bowie COVID-19 Business Recovery Assistance Program kicks off on January 7, 2021 with online technical assistance activities to help Bowie businesses meet the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, build resilience and accelerate their post-pandemic economic recovery. During the next eight months, Bowie businesses can participate in multiple training webinars, workshops, roundtables, counseling and business acceleration activities to help strengthen their business practices, and increase their chances for successful business recovery post-pandemic.
The Bowie Business Recovery Program combines practical educational activities with one-on-one counseling and access to online resources for Bowie businesses.
“The Bowie Business Recovery Program is an investment in the future success of Bowie businesses and it illustrates the power of a special collaboration with the Greater Bowie Chamber of Commerce and the City of Bowie to address the economic challenges faced by Bowie businesses,” said Lisa S. Smith, Executive Director of the Bowie Business Innovation Center (Bowie BIC).
The Bowie Business Recovery Program is collaboration between the Bowie Business Innovation Center (Bowie BIC) business accelerator and the Greater Bowie Chamber of Commerce GBCC), funded by the City of Bowie.
