The Bowie Business Innovation Center (Bowie BIC) is a business community where growth-oriented businesses—especially technology companies and government contractors—access technical assistance, plus connections to innovators, mentoring and capital to accelerate their business growth.  In 2016 more than 700 Prince Georges County entrepreneurs utilized business resources at Bowie BIC.

We are headquartered at Bowie State University and the clients in our 36-month business accelerator have access to co-working space, office and meeting space, plus business acceleration mentoring, capital and Bowie State student interns.  In January 2017 we opened a second office location in Bowie, called Bowie BIC NEXT! to provide affordable office space nearby for the graduates of our business accelerator.
